The organic motifs in “Gooseberry Garden” echo elements found in Arts & Crafts tapestries and decorative arts—a movement that has long captivated me for the way it wove together craftsmanship and artistic creation, giving equal weight to the hands of artisans, artists, and architects.

Through cycles of building and unbuilding forms, I attempt to cultivate my own garden: a place where blossoms and thorns coexist, inspired by the gooseberry, the bramble, or the moss rose. I also bring in materials that have accompanied my work over time, such as barbed wire, which here transforms into an organic line, merging with petals, branches, and leaves. In this meeting of delicacy and tension, the Goosberry Garden becomes a space where nature, memory, and resilience intertwine.
