2011-2014

Printmaking is an essential part of my artistic practice. I am interested in the tension between repetition and singularity: the possibility of producing multiple images that, while originating from the same matrix, become unique works.
 

I work with materials such as wood, linoleum, and metal, and maintain a particular connection to paper—especially handmade paper—both as a support and as a presence.
 

In the Wash & Dry series, I use the image of banknotes as a starting point. The bill, understood as a print, embodies value, reproduction, and control. Through processes of transformation, layering, and displacement, each image detaches from its original function and acquires its own identity.

The nominal value becomes irrelevant: each work asserts itself as unique.
